Our Educational Programs

Infants

6 weeks to 15 months Our Center offers individual classrooms for Infants. Healthy Beginnings Curriculum: Birth- 3yrs, developmentally appropriate individualized program

Toddlers

15 months to 2 years: Healthy Beginnings Curriculum: Birth- 3yrs, developmentally appropriate educational group time, art, storytime, free play, socialization skills, manners, potty training, outside play in own play yard

Preschool

3 - 4 year old Houghton/Mifflin PreK curriculum for 3-5yrs old, developmentally appropriate educational group time, art, storytime, free play, socialization skills, manners, potty training, outside play in own play yard

School Age Children

5 - and up: Before and after school care, indoor /outdoor activities, homework, care provided during school closings, early dismissal/late openings, summer camp

Staff Requirements

• Experienced and qualified with a degree or certification
• CPR & First Aid Trained
• Background checks
• Participate in MSDE credential program
• Emergency preparedness training
• Medication Administration Certified.

Safety First: The owner or director is always on site to ensure a safe environment for your child. We keep all entrances locked and visitors must ring a doorbell to gain access.

Nicole Cook, Director - North Hanover, Pa site (Eichelberger Street)

Nikki has worked in childcare since 1991 starting at the Hanover, PA location as a PreK teacher. She moved away in 1997 to Texas, with her husband, where she opened her own successful childcare center and operated it for 10 years. She returned to PA and Wee Care Best in 2009 working at the Finksburg, Md center as the PreK teacher. In 2013 she transferred to the Hanover location to again spearhead the PreK program and act as the assistant director. Nikki graduated in December 2018 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She ascended to Director of the Hampstead location in 2018, and moved in 2022 to North Hanover, Pa to apply her 30 years experience in child care.
